Tara joined MSO in 2026. She provides actuarial analysis for MSO and member company state filings. This includes competitive market analysis, and development of factors and loss costs for rating manuals. In addition, Tara writes actuarial memorandums and interacts with member companies on rate indication support.

She most recently worked at Security First Insurance, developing rate indications and reserving for Homeowners and Dwelling Fire products. Prior to that, she led a team of CAT modeling and pricing analysts at EMC Insurance. Other work experience includes reinsurance pricing and analysis of treaty data.

Tara has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She also has CPCU, ARe, AU, AIM, AIAF, and AIDA designations.
