MSO Introduces Farmowners Program in Ohio

APRIL 2016

Glen Rock, NJ – MSO®, Inc. (The Mutual Service Office, Inc.) is introducing its updated Farmowners program in Ohio. The program is approved for Commercial lines. The Farmowners Program is a self-contained package type policy including property and liability coverages that provide coverage comparable to the common industry commercial farm programs. The format follows that used by MSO for all its Personal and Commercial Lines.

The MSO Farmowners program is designed for ease of use and meets the needs of the farmowner who resides on a farm and has a small farming operation on the covered premises. A highlight of the updated program is the introduction of a new main policy form that provides coverage for a farm, but excludes dwelling coverage. This can be used when the farm is insured separately from the dwelling.

The MSO Farmowners program includes special enhancements not found in a commercial farm property and/or monoline commercial farm liability program. These enhancements include: Scheduled Household Personal Property; Valuable Articles – Furs, Jewelry, Silverware; Work Interruption (unique to MSO); Watercraft Liability and Horse Boarding Coverage.

MSO is a property/casualty rating service bureau, providing product development and rating services to the insurance industry since 1944. MSO has long been an industry leader, offering programs that are comprehensive and easy to use. MSO will work with companies to customize the program to meet a company’s marketing and underwriting requirements. MSO will continue to expand by making additional programs available in a growing number of states.
