  1. What are your office hours?
    Our office is open from 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

  2. How do I find a company that uses MSO?
    Call the office for a list of member companies.

  3. How often are the RLS disks mailed?
    Subscribing companies receive disks about every two months. Agents' updates are mailed semi-annually.

  4. How often are the MSO Forms and Endorsement CD's updated?
    Updated CD's are sent to companies quarterly. They go around the first of the month in January, April, July, and October. [for more information click here]

  5. Can adjusters receive the MSO CD?
    Yes. In order to receive the CD, please obtain written authorization from the insurance company or companies, and we will send a CD with the correct forms.

  6. Do I need to advise MSO if my agent moves or merges?
    Yes. We need to keep our database up-to-date.

  7. Can agents order forms directly from MSO?
    Agents should order through their company.

  8. Will I be charged for the MSO forms that I request?
    MSO provides forms and endorsements for all MSO programs to affiliated members free of charge. The only exception is the Commercial Umbrella program in New Jersey. This program is a non-filed line in New Jersey and therefore MSO does not receive any assessments on business written by member companies.

  9. Will I be charged for forms and other printing that is specifically for my company?
    Forms and other printing specifically designed for your company can be provided for a fee. MSO offers typesetting and printing services at reasonable rates.   10. How many years are specific rates valid for?
    Rates are valid for seven years from the effective date shown on the Specific Rate Summary.

  11. Can companies not affiliated with MSO order inspection reports?
    Yes, non-subscribing companies and agencies can order property, liability, residential, general area and replacement cost reports on a fee basis.

  12. What is a trigger endorsement?
    These are preprinted in the main coverage form for each program. They trigger coverage by listing the endorsement # on the policy dec. There is no physical form.

  13. What risks need to be inspected?
    All Commercial Property risks except Residential occupancies. BOP risks that request sprinkler credit must also be inspected.

  14. Why do we need a contact # on requests for inspection?
    Inspectors need to gain access to certain occupancies that may be locked or not open during regular business hours.
